How did oskar schindler change the world on his own?
Oskar Schindler changed the world with just one voice. How did he do it though? My claim is that Oskar simply did what was right.
He saved thousands of Jews by hiring them to work at his factory. The irony in this is that the was actually part of the Nazi party. He didn't know any of the people that he saved personally, but that didn't stop him from doing what was right.
One thing that Schindler did to save the Jewish people was sacrificing many things. A good example is his wealth. When he hired these Jewish people at his factory, he lost a lot of money. He also bribed many SS officers to take the prisoners and turn them into his employees. He also sacrificed his safety. He risked his life many times to save people that he didn't even know. The only thing he did know was that what the Nazis were doing wasn't right, and he didn't want to follow them.
Another example that supports my claim is that he was a "nobody". He was, in no way, a famous person and he did not save people just to become one. He wanted to save Jews because he knew that what the rest of the Nazi party was doing wasn't right. He just wanted to do the right thing. He was already living a great life. He had shelter, food, wealth, and a great business. None of this mattered to him as much as saving random, innocent people mattered to him.
Oskar Schindler surely changed the world with one voice. He sacrificed such a good life, for, in his eyes, an even better life. He was admired by millions of people after the war. He still is admired by many people today, all because he did the right thing.
